Today I have the new Tonic Polish Unicorn Pee Collection to share with you. Tonic Polish has quickly stolen my heart and when I found out they were doing a collection with Unicorn Pee, I just about fell over. For those of you that aren't familiar with Unicorn Pee or UP....UP is a super sought out hard to find pigment that shifts red to green to gold. Each base shows off a completely different look. Why did the nail community decide to call it Unicorn Pee? No Idea really, but if I had to guess I would say because this magical pigment is so hard to come by and well unicorns are awesome so their pee must be too right? Are you all ready to see these swatches? Fair warning, you might want to be sitting down before you continue reading this post.

'Tonic Polish Uniporn'
Uniporn is described as a sheer red jelly packed with UP pigment. Are we loving the name? The name came about when the lovely Chris had a slip of the tongue when saying Unicorn Pee and instead Uniporn came out. It was a brilliant slip and I'm glad Lindsey decided to use the name. This is indeed sheer so if you mind having a visible nail line, you'll want to add a base color down before applying this over it. I'll be honest, I wasn't going to try this alone, but man am I so glad I did! This is so ridiculously gorgeous by itself and since my nails aren't crazy long, I didn't have any VNL (visible nail line) at all. The formula was perfection with it's smooth and even application. Swatch shown in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Let's a have a looksie at a few more angles of this beauty.
'Tonic Polish Apotheke'
Apotheke is described as a pure UP pigment topper. With this topper you have endless possibilities really. Choose your base and watch shift happen! I chose to wear mine over black, but really this can be worn over any color you choose. I love it over black as it gives off a gorgeous glow almost like embers. This would definitely be the perfect combo for fall. The formula was fantastic, applied very smooth and didn't cloud the base whatsoever. Swatch shown with 1 coat over black plus glossy top coat.
'Tonic Polish Serendipity'
Serendipity is described as a warm toned purple with gorgeous red to green shifting UP pigment. This one is an ode to Lula as they share the same gorgeous purple base. Wow the UP really glows inside this particular base and I am loving it. I love the depth of this one and this would be another amazing shade to wear during fall. The formula was fantastic with it's smooth, buttery, even application. Swatch shown in 3 perfect coats plus glossy top coat.
'Tonic Polish Happy Beginning'
Happy Beginning is described as a squishy royal cobalt blue. WOW! You all know how amazing Lindsey is with her multichromes, but oh..my...goodness...this one absolutely blew me away or should I say BLUE me away. This cobalt blue is everything and I have a feeling everyone else will love it as much as I do. Let's talk about formula! The formula is perfection with a combination of a squishy jelly and creamy formula (crelly). This applied like buttah and I mean that in the the best way. The application was smooth, creamy, even, and just an all around pleasure to work with. I am going to add that it has that famous skunky smell as do most blues, but trust me smelling that for 2.5 seconds is so worth it. Swatch shown in 2 perfect coats plus glossy top coat. You may need 3 if you have a strong VNL.
'Tonic Polish Uniporn & Happy Beginning'
Since we are all familiar with Uniporn and Happy Beginning, here they are together. Lindsey mentioned that she loved using Uniporn over Happy Beginning so I became intrigued and felt the need to try it out. She's a genius! I loved how these looked together. Putting this topper over that gorgeous cobalt blue base made the Unicorn Pee look like a fiery hot pink. I bet Uniporn would look amazing over black as well. Swatch shown is 2 coats of Happy Beginning and 1 coat of Uniporn with glossy top coat.
'Tonic Polish Curio'
Curio is described as a blue toned purple with gorgeous red to green shifting UP pigment. This is an ode to one of my favorite Tonics 'Huckleberry Sparkle' with the same colored base, but with the magical pigment. This one is my favorite of the collection! It's just so perfect in every way. It's no surprise that this is my favorite since it is has the same gorgeous huckleberry sparkle base. The formula is fantastic, but it does start out sheer in the first coat. Other than being a little sheer, the application was smooth and even just like the others in this collection. Swatch shown in 3 coats plus glossy top coat.
'Tonic Polish Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe'
Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe is described as a warm toned cream violet with that amazing red to green UP pigment. This is considered a Tonic Polish Group Custom and while it's not mandatory to join the group, it is encouraged to come join in all the fun. Click HERE to join! This one is gorgeous and I love that Tonic did a cream in this collection. Because it is in a cream base, the UP pigment is not as apparent as the others in the collection. It's more subtle and I honestly love the subtlety of it. It's a nice change of pace and fits in well with the set. The formula was fantastic and for this swatch I did 1 regular coat and then a heavier second coat to reach perfect opacity.
There you have it! I bet you didn't get through this post without drooling as least once. It is important that you pick these up as soon as you can since this UP pigment is very hard to come by and these polishes will not be around long. Once these are gone, these are GONE so make sure you grab them right away as these are extremely Limited Edition. Because these are so limited, you may only grab one bottle of each shade for the initial release. If there are any extra bottles after release, the shop will open up so you can add multiples to your order.
